A memorial is a personal remembrance that honors the life of a friend, relative or colleague with a gift of love and hope.

A tribute provides a meaningful, living gift to a friend, relative or colleague by honoring a special occasion.

A donation is a general contribution to the AHA to help us continue our efforts in fighting heart disease and stroke.

When you make a tribute or memorial contribution, the American Heart Association sends a note of acknowledgement to the recipient (or the recipient's family).
